MPRE
Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination

The Board of Bar Examiners shall require each applicant to pass the separately administered Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE) with a scaled score of 75 or higher (including those who are eligible for the Attorneys’ Examination.)

The MPRE is a separate exam administered in March, August and November by the National Conference of Bar Examiners.

If you have taken and achieved a scaled score of 75 or higher on the MPRE, you should contact the National Conference of Bar Examiners by calling 319-337-1304 and have your score forwarded directly to the Office of Bar Admissions.

If you are taking the MPRE at a future date, you should make arrangements to have your score forwarded directly to the Office of Bar Admissions when it becomes available. Applicants may register for the MPRE online or by mail.
